Just a couple of things concerning the latest episode of the Show…

As is abundantly clear on the video version of The Show, we completely misunderstood what Mike Roberts from ActofGraceRadio.net did with our version of a sketch from episode 52. We thought he just used the sketch. What he really did was use US actutally DOING the sketch. It’s pretty cool, because he tweaked the sound, threw in a lot of sound effects, and made it almost like a real drama thing. Thanks, Mike.

As we also mentioned, and you might have noticed, we have only done nine shows this year in seven months. We would like it to be more, but schedules, family, business, etc…all get in the way. Plus, it’s sometimes difficult to get the right material to do on The Show.

Today is the day for our regularly scheduled recording of The Show…but we are going to move it back by a week. Look for the next episode of the Church Drama Podcast coming in your feed next week.

For those of you looking for the podcast we recorded on Sunday night, it’s almost ready. It is taking longer than usual, due to the four camera setup. And, tragically, one of the cameras had a problem, so we are only getting three of the feeds to work.

Keep watching the website, or better yet – subscribe to the podcast. Then whenever a new episode is available, you’ll get it automatically. You can subscribe (remember, “subscribing” simply means telling your software that you want episodes to come to your computer automatically…it’s all free) through iTunes or by email. If you have questions about that, just let us know.

If you are trying to view any Videos from this page – and your browser is asking you to download – sorry about that. I’m not sure what’s causing that.

The better way to view the videos is by having them automatically download to iTunes or your favorite podcast aggregating software. (If you don’t know what that is, just send me an email and I’ll explain it to you.)

There also seems to be a problem with episode 50’s audio. It sounds like it’s only in the left channel, not both left and right. I’ll be working to correct that. Thanks for your patience.

Happy 33rd Anniversary to MJ (and Larry)!

And a BIG Happy Birthday to Steve – a.k.a. the Sage of Scrooge. Of course, we can’t tell you which birthday this is…we just know he’s in Sporty Heaven.

Episode 39 was recorded on Sunday, May 20. We attempted to record it. We thought we recorded it. It felt like it was recorded.

However, both the audio AND the video were completely useless. Now we’re trying to figure out how to get a replacement episode done in the next few days. We cannot record at our normal Sunday afternoon timeslot this week, and then there are out-of-town-trips and all sorts of obstacles.

But we’ll do our best to fulfill our commitment to you, the podcast consumer.

Sorry for the delay in receiving the latest podcast. It was recorded on May 6th, but it’s been a very busy week…plus I’m procrastinating, since I knew we would be skipping the 13th because of Mother’s Day.

Look for the  May 6th episode on May 15th or 16th…as soon as I can edit the video and add alot of sound effects for the sketch.

The Show is on hiatus for the next couple of weeks due to Thanksgiving and vacations. There will be no regular episode for either Nov. 19th or Nov. 26th. HOWEVER, Tim and the lovely Trudi have recorded a special on-the-road edition of the podcast that will be posted sometime this week.

Of course, what’s a podcast without some technical difficulties? Our regular camera broke and we’re trying to find a cable for the backup…but we hope to have the special episode to you…soon.

Ugh. I thought I had this video thing figured out…but obviously I don’t. My apologies if you’ve been trying to access the video feed, but have been unsuccessful. I am uploading it again, with hopes that maybe the file was corrupted. All other settings seem to be okay, but if this doesn’t fix it, I’ll be in touch with our hosting provider. Thanks for your patience.

Looking forward to Sunday, when we should have the entire cast available for the show. Last Sunday’s opening episode was not exactly what we had in mind, but we wanted to get it off the ground and going, instead of just talking about it.

This week, we’re planning a two-for-one special on drama sketches.

Oh, and did we mention that this is a WEEKLY show? I hope no one saw our first episode, then sat with baited-breath waiting for…okay, so that wouldn’t have happened, and if it did I would simply recommend a strong mouthwash.

The goal is that the Sunday episode will be posted Monday in audio and at least by Tuesday in video…but we’ll see how it goes.
